Amaze family and friends with these beautiful lithophanes made from your own photographs!

But what is a lithophane?  It's an art form started in the early 1800's consisting of etching an image into porcelain in three dimensions and using a back light in order to see the actual image. 3D printing technology has now made it possible to create these gorgeous and somewhat magical lithophanes without having to hand-carve the image.

The Standard Nightlight Kit includes a lithophane up to 4" x 6" and includes a built-in nightlight adapter which not only allows your lithophane to replace a nightlight shade, but it can also act as a stand if you want to put your lithophane in a bright window.

The Enhanced Nightlight Kit includes a nightlight with an On/Off Switch (not auto on/off) so that you can show off your lithophane any time!

After you place your order, you will receive an email with instructions on sending your photos to us to begin the creation of your lithophane.  Be sure to use your best email address when checking out.

Please note:

*  Most lithophanes will print approximately 3 to 4 inches high and the width will be proportional to the photo.  If you would like your lithophane to print bigger or smaller, you can include this information when you send in your image file.

*  Photos with sharp contrasts work best.  We may need to crop out glaring light or backgrounds that are too dark/light.  We will send you a proof of the lithophane before it is printed if we need to crop it.

*  Lithophanes are made to order and can take up to five (5) days to create.

*  Lithophanes are printed in heat-resistant plastics such as PETG or High Temp PLA.  They should not be subjected to a high heat source (over 140 degrees F) for long periods of time to ensure consistent high-quality viewing.
